Love's Shades of Gray

In 2011, R. Micharel Daugherty contacted me to obtain copyright permission to use several of my poems in a song cycle consisting of five art songs. In November, I received a demo CD featuring soprano Marguerite Krull and pianist Craig Ketter. I thought the music and vocal interpretation stunning and was pleased with the way he arranged the poetry into a presentation on the meaning of intimacy. The five poems are contained in The Immigrant's House. They are:
